Fresno, CA — With an audience of over 600 people at the Greenlining Institute's Economic Summit and an additional 600 attendees at their banquet, Keith Kelley — Fresno West Coalition for Economic Development (FWCED) President / CEO received the Big Heart Award on last Friday, April 3rd, 2009 for his "self-sacrifice, compassion and high level of competence in meeting the felt needs of underserved communities." - The Greenlining Institute.
The Greenlining Institute is a nationwide respected multi-cultural non profit coalition in Oakland, CA.
Each year their well attended and dynamic summit is held in Los Angeles, CA and attended by a plethora of national political figures and stakeholders such as the Keynote Speakers Randall Stephenson - AT&T CEO and Richard Davis — US Bank CEO; along with the panelist: Brad Blackwell — Executive Vice President of Wells Fargo, Kevin Stein — Associate Director of the California Reinvestment Coalition and Glenda Gabriel — Senior Vice President of Neighborhood Lending, Bank of America. Congratulations to the other award recipients: Honorable Ted Lieu, CA State Assemblymember, 53rd District — "Distinguished Leader Award"; Earl "Skip" Cooper, Black Business Association — "Big Brain Award" and Martha Montoya, CA Hispanic Chamber of Commerce — "Big Foot Award".
